23.5%!Jolywood announced its new breakthrough of mass production power conversion efficiency!
March 11th, 2020, Jolywood announced its own developed n-type TOPCon high efficiency bifacial solar cells reached mass production power conversion efficiency to 23.5% featuring an optimized homogeneous boron emitter with Al2O3/SiNx as passivation films and metallization process for better contact, which increases the efficiency of 0.3% over 23.2% reported end 2019.
The 23.5% efficiency cell used n-type 158.75 mm (G1) silicon wafers has set a new record for mass production n-type cell efficiency. Moreover, the implantation process was applied in TOPCon solar cells, which could avoid the leakage current and hot spot risk of module efficiently. The bifacial module has an improved output-power of 3-5 W with the improved efficiency of 0.3% absolutely. The bifacial passivating-contact Module with several highlights including High bifaciality, Low degradation, Low temperature coefficient, Weak illumination response, Higher reliability. Compared with laboratory data, Jolywood is more focused on continuous increasing the conversion efficiency in mass production. Jolywood established an internal management system to quick transfer lab-developed technology to production lines, therefore to realize NTOPCon mass production conversion efficiency get refreshed again and again.
Jolywood believes, the new record will bring customer higher efficiency and more reliable products.
